The Vision

Freedom Music Ministries, Inc. began its work September 1, 1996, in response to the leading of the Holy Spirit, it is clear that we are to minister to three areas of need in our community and beyond.

Those Three Areas Are:

  • Community Development and Outreach
    FMM’s commitment is primarily to the Eastern Section of Birmingham and beyond.It is our sincere desire and goal to reach the un-churched and equip all believers to do the work of the ministry, to perfect the saints, perpetuate unity, and love in the Body of Christ. (Ephesians. 4:12-13)

  • Servants of Power Mentorship Program
    A service to the underserved and disadvantage youth with a program mentorship program.We offer a solution and an answer to troubled and at-risk youth by offering training classes in Music Technology, Music Transcription, Sacred Dance, Ministry Training, Spiritual and Character Development.

  • Matthew 1-2-1 Project
    There many people in need of love and support in the nursing home facilities and private homes. This outreach is designed to give spiritual and personal care to those that are sick and shut-in. We do this by adopting two nursing homes for a period of one year to minister to those that are physically unable to attend a public worship experience.


Statement of Mission

Freedom Music Ministries, Inc. is a non-profit, faith-based ministry that flows with the grace gifts of prophetic music, teaching, preaching, gift of healings, administration, faith and love. It is also a ministry of integrity and accountability.

We intend to do this by ministering through praise and worship, preaching, praying for the sick, and administering Holy Communion when and wherever the love and message of Jesus Christ is needed. It is our goal to accomplish this by going into private homes, nursing home facilities and the prisons. We do this by taking the public worship service into any place of physical restriction.

We also seek to leave spiritual resources in each place, so that the whole man can receive freedom from the conditions and the restrictions of their physical and spiritual life.

It is our mandate that we establish Biblical praise and worship seminars, workshops and conferences for the Body of Christ. They will serve to equip and impact church music ministries to demonstrate the anointing of excellence and the power of God’s presence. We seek to share God's love, freedom and grace with every life we touch.

We are called to assist local church administration and church music ministries maximize their ministry potential by offering consultation to develop a plan to fulfill their vision and ministry mission. With the gifts and the help of the Holy Spirit, this ministry will minister to the Body of Christ by becoming a training center and by developing a course of study for those who desire to learn about prophetic music ministry. After a thorough study of music ministry and manifesting successful demonstration of a prophetic calling, there will be a certificate of ordination given to those who want to work in the area of music ministry.

Our ministry is also called to empower those in the Body of Christ with gifts and talents in the area of music and the arts. We seek to create appropriate venues to display and operate in the anointing that God has placed on their life.

We believe we are to do all that is in our power to train and mentor new recording artists, songwriters, musicians, dancers and technical sound administrators.

We plan to do this for the sole purpose of replenishing the Body of Christ and to minister to those less fortunate and not able to pay for an opportunity to receive training in the area of music and arts ministry. To do this, we have established a publishing firm called, “Freedom Music Publishing Company” which is also formed to administrate the rights of all songwriters to make public or known all works by those that are in partnership with this company.

Statement of Ministry Values

We embrace the fact that God so loved the world and gave His only begotten Son, Jesus Christ, the Messiah, is Lord and Savior over our lives and this ministry. We further believe that the inspired Word of God is infallible. We also accept it as the final authority for every affair, situation and problem in life. It is the rule and measure that governs this ministry and in all of its business practices. (John 3:16; 2 Timothy 3:16)

We hold with high value the operation our ministry and business practices with a balance of excellence, integrity, accountability, faith and love. As we operate as a nonprofit organization, we fully commit to observe and execute all state and federal laws. (Titus 2:7; Hebrews 11:6; 1 Corinthians 13)
