Our Founder
Through this ministry, he conducts workshops and seminars on Praise and Worship, Music in the Church and Church Administration. His ministry travels include going to Anchorage, Alaska, Jerusalem, Israel and San Jose, Costa Rica, to conduct worship seminars, vocal and keyboard clinics. Kevin is an anointed composer and owns a music publishing company, Freedom Music Publishing Company. This firm helps to develop and publish other songwriters. Kevin has written many songs and has recorded with several choirs and artists. He was a special guest pianist and composer for the first recording project of the University of Alabama at Birminghams Gospel Choir. Kevin was inducted into the Smithsonian Institute in the Founder's Room as a charter member for being a "Distinguished Composer and Artist." He was also recognized as, "Who's Who In Church Music In The USA." Minister Kevin was given a special Resolution by the Mayor and The City Council of the City of Birmingham for Leadership and dedication for helping people. Kevin is an active alumnus and an official representative of LaMar Boschman Ministries and the International Worship Institute, of Dallas, Texas. Kevin also gives leadership as President to the Greater Birmingham Area Ministers of Music Fellowship (a multicultural non-denomination organization). He has served for several years as Music Coordinator for the Birmingham March for Jesus. He also serves as Pianist/Organist for the Alabama Symphony Orchestra Gospel Choir. Kevin currently serves as a musician for the Birmingham Community Mass Choir of the Gospel Music Workshop of America, Inc. Kevin studied piano at the Cleveland Institute of Music and the Music School Settlement, in Cleveland, Ohio. He has done some Worship Leadership studies at Samford University, in the Beeson School of Divinity. He is also the host of an annual Worship Conference held in February each year in the city of Birmingham, Alabama. Kevin is presently a member of The New City Church under the leadership of Senior Pastor Cedric Brown of Birmingham, Alabama. Kevin is a native of Cleveland, Ohio and resides in Birmingham, Alabama. Kevin is a licensed and ordained minister of the Gospel and is the founder and president of an outreach called, Freedom Music Ministries, Inc., a ministry that brings the public worship service to the homes of the sick and shut-in.
